Our children are not receiving the education they need to be successful in future careers and to support their families. Utah schools receive the lowest per pupil funding in the nation. Over 50% of our children and grandchildren are not proficient in reading, math or science at any grade level.
We ask the Utah State Legislature to do more. Educators must be fairly compensated. Class sizes are too large. Professional development must be available for our teachers. Early learning must be available. We must invest in proven strategies to drive improvements in outcomes.
